To busy?...

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms."
~1 Peter 4:10

Think about it, think about your typical day, think through all the details. Details like, what time you wake, sleep, work, eat, what you eat, rituals prior to eating or sleeping or working. Think about everything, everything down to the details of the typical clothing you wear. Break it all down, down so you know what you do every minute, how you look, and how you feel. If you feel the need to write it all down, maybe map it out, by all means go ahead. Are you finished yet? No? Ok, go ahead take as you need.......

Now maybe your thinking, "Oh my goodness look how much time I wasted doing nothing of importance!" or perhaps your thinking, "Oh look if I complete this a little faster and shave a few minutes off that, I can fit another event right there". But why am I asking you to look at your day? It's not for either of the above reasons. So, what could my reason be? Well, it's simple...God. How much time do u give to God. Do you try to show others Gods word through out the day? Do you even take time to look into Gods word during the day? Is God even there at all in your day?

The world we live in was originally designed for us; however, it has been polluted by evil, danger, and distractions. There are so many things at our fingertips, internet, travel, phones, cars, games, it makes it very easy to get distracted and not focus on God. Our world allows us to be "to busy" for God. Are you "to busy"? Perhaps you won't even finish reading because you don't have time.

Christ was tortured and persecuted, Christ died on the cross so we could be forgiven and have eternal life. All he asks in return is that we live faithfully according to the Bible and evangelize. We each have a gift, and we each have the ability on how to use our gifts. The Bible commands us to administer are gifts in Godly ways. So how are you using your gift? Think about it.

I'm not writing this to point fingers at anyone, I'm writing this to make you self examine yourself. It's easy to slip away from God, to get "to busy", I know I'm guilty of it. And that is why I'm writing this, to help you and remind you to not get caught up in the world. Spend some time with God, and find your gift if you haven't already. Then, go out and use it for his work...

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
~1 Corinthians 10:31
